Learn to Surfdance

Surfdance classes have commenced in Noosa Heads .

Surf dance workshops will be available in different surf locations around Australia.

Surfdance locations include: Noosa Heads, Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Sydney, Lorne and Perth. Sponsorship opportunities still exist for a Surfdancer tour of Australia.

The director Kristy Quirk is a qualified Level 1 Surf Coach with both Surfing Australia and Surf Life Saving Australia and offers Surfing courses with the Academy of Surfing Instructors.

Kristy is a qualified classical ballet teacher with the Australian Dance Assesment Programme and holds a Bachelor of Business Mgmt. In addition, Kristy offers surf education with the Noosa Heads Surf Life Saving Club and is an active life saver.

Surfdancing offers surfers, techniques to practice a full range of movements on a surfboard necessary for todays dynamic surfer. Surfdancings cutting edge training asks more of todays traditional surfer encouraging superior board handling skills, spatial awareness, syncronisation, wave sharing, presentation, body strength and flexibility.
